Helping sustain people and nature for many years to come.

For conservation to be effective, local communities must benefit from conservation efforts. This is the understanding at the heart of WWF’s Nature Pays, which helps communities set up and run enterprises that support conservation.

At the centre of our capacity building programme is our e-learning course, where we share some of the WWF Network’s 60+ years of experience working with communities to help you strengthen your experience and knowledge to provide better support to Community Conservation Enterprises (CCEs).

THE COMMUNITY CONSERVATION ENTERPRISES E-LEARNING

The WWF Community Conservation Enterprises (CCE) E-learning course combines the knowledge from the Nature Pays Practitioner Guide with additional business concepts and tools.

WWF practitioners, corporates or organizations working with CCEs in any sector can gain skills to build a more resilient future for local communities.

This course has been co-created with Impact Hub, and compiles learning from seven cohorts delivered from 2020-2022 to 334 practitioners, reaching 40% of WWF's network. Now adapted in a more flexible format, the e-learning course equips practitioners with tools to support their work, at their own pace.
